The Card Larder
The Card Larder has been a cherished part of the community for nearly 15 years, lovingly operated by Jenny from her base in Bendigo. This delightful business has brought warmth to countless homes through intimate gatherings with friends, charming appearances at country markets throughout Central Victoria, and thoughtful visits to those who treasure the art of letter writing but find it difficult to venture out in search of the perfect card.
The Card Larder's carefully curated range features fun, quirky, and beautiful stationery products that showcase the highest quality production of hand-drawn artistry. Each print is thoughtfully designed to suit many occasions and audiences, with the collection primarily consisting of greeting cards beautifully complemented by bookmarks, gift tags, wrapping papers, family organisers, and postcard-style notelets.
Throughout The Card Larder's years of operation, I've been a devoted customer, drawn to their products because the illustrations and messages capture exactly what I wish I had the artistic skills to create myself. Most often printed in matte, these cards feel infinitely more personal than typical shop-bought alternatives, offering access to unique paper creations that combine beauty with practical functionality.
I'm particularly enchanted by their annual Christmas collections – featuring cards, postcards, advent calendars, and Christmas ornaments that I often repurpose into gift tags. While their imagery carries a northern hemisphere influence, it consistently evokes old-world charm, childhood wonder, and fairy tale magic that resonates deeply with me.
